Maggie Hardy

Maggie is a San Francisco native and proud middle school educator. She holds a B.A. in political science and Latin American studies and a master’s in secondary education. Her master’s research focused on the impact of intercultural education on student achievement. She has taught middle and high school social studies and English as a foreign language in both public and private schools in the US and abroad. Most recently, she taught seventh and eighth grade social studies at Episcopal Day School of St. Matthew in San Mateo. She has a passion for curriculum development and project-based learning. In particular, she loves teaching medieval world history through thoughtful classroom games, discussions and projects. In her personal time, she enjoys climbing, hiking, gardening, knitting, and preventing the cat from stealing the baked goods she left on the kitchen counter.
